Anyone installed a spiral staircase or paddle ladder for loft access?

I’m about to install a permanent stairway to my loft in a fairly tight space. Considering a spiral staircase or perhaps one of those unusual paddle style stairs. If you’ve fitted either of these I’d be grateful for your thoughts. A good or bad idea? |

I’ve been in a similar situation, and I can totally understand the space dilemma. I ended up going with a spiral staircase for my loft because it saves so much room, but I know the paddle style stairs can be a cool option too, especially if you’re looking for something unique. The spiral staircase worked out great for me – it fits well in tight spaces and still feels sturdy. I did a bit of research and even looked at ladder nz for inspiration. They have some neat ladder and stair designs that gave me some ideas for space-saving solutions. | |
