Data from China Customs shows that ***** will import various types of crane equipment from China worth 32.29 million US dollars in 2021, an increase of 186.51% compared with the total import value of 11.278 million in 2020. In 2021, the bilateral trade volume between China and Kazakhstan will be 25.25 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 17.6%. Among them, China’s exports to Kazakhstan were US$13.98 billion, a year-on-year increase of 19.5%; imports from Kazakhstan were US$11.27 billion, a year-on-year increase of 15.3%. According to statistics from the Ministry of Commerce of China, in 2021, China’s direct investment in Kazakhstan’s entire industry will be US$859 million, a year-on-year increase of 48%. As of the end of 2021, Kazakhstan’s total investment in China is about 154 million US dollars, mainly involving logistics and transportation, chemical industry, food processing and other fields.
