I am about to begin the Viekira Pak treatment. I have the express scripts prescription insurance. They approved the medication and are quoting my 12 weeks of treatment around $9000. On the Abbvie VP website I saw that I can print a co-pay card out that says "may pay as little as $5 out-of- pocket". Sounds awesome, if that's the case! Has anyone used it and it actually worked? Do you have any other suggestions as to how I can reduce $9000?

My prescription for Harvoni was also through Express Scripts through my employer although my copay was only $30 per bottle so would have been $180

I believe that health insurance is very important. I took out my insurance a couple of years ago and have never regretted my decision. In your version, it is best to look for a cheaper tariff so that the amount on the bill is less. My sister also recently decided to take out health insurance for herself. She could not decide which service package to take, so she contacted the *****. And it was a great decision; she was helped to choose a great insurance package. So I recommend that you also talk to an insurance agent.
