I don't know, if I should ever make an account on NETFLIX.
NETFLIX has cancelled good shows before their natural conclusions like:
Examples:
SENSE 8
AMERICAN VANDAL
THE CURIOUS CREATIONS OF CHRISTINE MCCOUNNEL
ONE DAY AT A TIME
SANTA CLARIETA DIET
THE O.A.
I AM NOT OKAY WITH THIS
TUCA & BERTIE
THE DARK CRYSTAL: THE AGE OF RESISTANCE
GLOW
GENTEFIED
JULIE AND THE PHANTOMS
FIRST KILL (Guilty Pleasure Camp/Trash for LGTB)
THE BABYSITTER CLUB
INSIDE JOB
THE MIDNIGHT CLUB (To think they would do this to Mike Flanagan)
1899
DEAD END PARANORMAL PARK
From what I understand and gathered during my research:
Netflix isn't a charity for content creators and many people still wants to work with Netflix because they are lucrative and more likely greenlight/invest in your original concept with a whole full season compared to other networks.
This streaming site is still a business to gain new subscribers. No network wants to be known for only cancelling shows...
BUT on the other hand it is the people who directly gives Netflix the money and also accuse them of not promoting theses shows good enough + not actually caring of keeping the old subcribers/loyal fans.
Many are furious that trash shows like EMILY IN PARIS are still getting kept alive. Turns out this particular show that even offended France & Ukraine by Darren Star who loves cringy lucky selfish white privileged girlbosses is a goldmine of advertisement + product placements for Netflix - McDonald's.....
By the way, do you think Stranger Things also overstayed it's welcome?
I think Netflix was known for giving shows a second chance but now it is so focused of quickly gaining and maintaining the hightest viewership that they have become far less generous, lenient and patient.

You might enjoy "Dark Waters." It's a gripping true story from 2019 about Dupont Chemical and Teflon. Another great pick is "Your Honor" with Bryan Cranston—it's intense and highly engaging. And if you haven't watched "This is Us" yet, it's an emotional rollercoaster that's definitely worth binging. For something light and fun, Jennifer Aniston movies are always a good choice. "Murder Mystery" is a comedy-mystery that's quite entertaining. If you're also exploring other streaming options, check out ***** for a guide on watching Hulu in South Africa.
