I’ve been living in Calgary for a few years, but now I’ve got to relocate for work to Vancouver. I’ve never done a long-distance move before, and I’m not sure what to expect. Is it that much different from a local move? I’m worried about the costs, especially because it’s a longer trip, and also about my furniture and stuff getting damaged along the way. Should I be looking for a company that specializes in long-distance moves? Would love any advice or recommendations for movers that can handle this kind of thing without charging a fortune.
