The Carpathian Mountains of Romania offers various opportunities for ski tour packages in the Transylvania region. The town is abundant of classy hotels and traditional restaurants. Sinaia, the Pearl of the Carpathians was chosen by King Carl as a summer residence. Here you will find the Palace of Peles is a masterpiece of German Renaissance architecture containing an astonishing collection of medieval arms. Sinaia is set in a natural back drop surrounded by mountains, located in the Prahova Valley at the foot of the Bucegi Mountains. It is an important resort town that tourists have been flocking to for years and a popular winter destination with some of the best slopes in the country. |
