What's your approach to creating passwords that are both secure and practical?

I'm trying to improve my online security by using a unique password for every account, but finding the right balance between security and convenience isn't always easy. Some people recommend completely random 20+ character passwords stored in a password manager, while others prefer long passphrases that are easier to remember.

What approach has worked best for you? Do you rely on an online password generator, the built-in generator in your password manager, or another method entirely? I'm also curious whether you have any rules for password length, special characters, or enabling two-factor authentication for important accounts.

Jumping in on this older post even though the original link seems broken. I'm hoping someone involved might still be around to pick up the conversation. Does anyone remember what was being discussed or have new thoughts to share?

I see the thread is gone, so I can't help with that specific post. For password security, I use the strong password generator tool here. It lets me choose length, symbols, and even QR codes for easy mobile access. I've found it very helpful for creating unique passwords to keep my accounts safe from cyber threats.
