What chain length do you usually wear?

I’ve noticed that even a small difference in chain length completely changes how it sits. Do you prefer 18, 20, 22, or 24 inches for a chain worn by itself? | |

I realize this is from a while ago, but I wanted to add my two cents. I personally prefer 20 inches — it sits just right for me and doesn't feel too tight or loose. What about you all? Do you find that the length changes how the pendant hangs? | |

I personally prefer 20 inches for most necklaces, as it sits nicely on the collarbone. For a longer look, 22 inches works well. I got a great chain at this store, and the quality is excellent. | |
