My gf gave me a thoughtful gift from her and the pets--a recliner so that I don't have to lie down all day after upcoming aneurysm surgery. It'll keep my leg propped up without some uncomfortable arrangement. Sweet kindness. I'm more touched by this than if she'd bought me an expensive guitar. Have since gotten that right side totally in place. Drives me nuts to look at the picture. lol | |

Getting a recliner for father's day is an excellent idea! It's even suitable for a birthday gift. My dad also dreamed about the recliner. But my mum is entirely against it. Maybe we can find something that matches the style of the living room and for a reasonable price. I've actually seen some fabulous gift baskets, and they have lovely ideas for baskets for him. So, if we can find a nice recliner, we can get him a basket full of beer and snacks, which he can keep next to his recliner. He would receive his perfect day off like he always dreamed. |
