I just read the graphic novel and the trailer looks like they captured it beyond the ridiculous amount of gender and race swapping here. Can't imagine how they tried to make it mainstream as the book is quite artsy. | |

I was pretty disappointed with the movie. The book was exciting and I liked the dark style. However, when I watched the movie yesterday on https://www.999flix.com, I noticed that it became more like a teenage fantasy. I don't like the way films are remade today. I think there's no better way to enjoy the movie than just watch an old one. Otherwise, I usually get disappointed. Modern graphics are great, but the sketch is usual;y terrible. However, sometimes interesting and talented actors help to fix the situation. | |
