The Pakistan client’s company is a steel factory, which is the largest and fastest re-rolling steel mill in Pakistan, and which is the only steel mill plant in Pakistan that can manufacture 60 and 70 grade steel bars. Its products are mainly used for High-rise buildings, large commercial buildings and other projects. The steel mill company has branches in Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, Quetta and other cities, etc.

The first order was in 2016. The Pakistan customer purchased 9 bridge cranes and electromagnets from us. And this time, the cooperation on 2 sets of 20 ton double girder overhead cranes is achieved success.

Crane model and working condition analysis
The customer's two sets of overhead cranes will be installed in the scrap plant for grabbing/sucking scrap iron, so the QN model two purpose overhead cranes is selected.
The full name of the QN model overhead crane is a dual-purpose bridge crane which can be quipped with magnet, grab or hook for different loads handling.
That is, on the basis of QD model double girder overhead crane , the installation position of the cable reel is reserved on the trolley, which is used to supply power to the grab (usually an electro-hydraulic grab) or the electromagnet. All electrical components are also larger than the general QD type overhead crane relatively, and the power of the hydraulic grab and the electromagnet should be considered.
The other parts of QN overhead cranes are the same as the QD types, the lower part is the hook, and the electromagnet or hydraulic grab can be hung at any time, with the below picture on left for your reference.

Comparison of QN overhead cranes with QZ grab crane & QC elector-magnetic crane
this qn model overhead crane is more flexible to use. It can lift general heavy objects, and can also install grab buckets or electromagnets to lift scrap iron and so on.
The difference from QZ grab bridge crane is that the crane is equipped with a grab bucket by default, without a hook. The wire rope from the reel is directly connected to the pulley of the grab bucket for grabbing broken items, such as sand, coal, etc. The structure is shown in the figure below on the right.
Similarly, there are QC electromagnetic bridge cranes which is equipped with electromagnets instead of hooks by default, and QL electromagnetic girder bridge cranes is equipped with electromagnetic beam spreader , as shown on the left.

On delivery of 20 ton overhead crane for Pakistan
The 20 ton cranes and cranes parts are delivered by 2 different ways. Firstly, the crane parts and components such as trolley and end carriages are packed and loaded in container for delivery, and the other part, it is the mainly involved in main beam girder which will be packed with raining-proof cloths and delivered by bulk cargo.By the way, it is only the main beam, and on the main beam, there is no motor, reducer, walking table, etc. It is the most cost-effective way of delivery the 20 ton overhead crane from China to Pakistan.

About installation of 20 ton overhead cranes.
Previously, it was promised to be installed by our engineers, and the installation fee was paid in cash, but due to the epidemic, it is no longer a proper solution for 20 ton crane installation by our team and the customer also proposed that they install it by themselves,with the step-by-step installation construction from us.
After that, we provided the customer with electrical diagrams and installation steps diagram,which help the Pakistan customer to know the difficult points of installation. The difficulty of the customer's crane lies in the positioning of the crane motor and the reducer. Since we have installed a similar project in Pakistan, our client managed to install the 20 ton overhead cranes successfully after consultation with the local project.
