The AFP news agency reported on July 4 that rescuers accelerated the search for survivors again on the same day. after the occurrence of glaciers on the Alps or Mardmalada Mountains of Italy Collapsed on July 3, killing at least six people and injuring eight others.
The incident came after temperatures on top of the glacier reached their highest ever, reaching 10C the day before, the report said. It is unclear how many mountain rangers were on the glacier at the time of the incident.
A rescue helicopter joined the search mission after the July 3 accident. But the mission must be canceled after entering the night and will begin the mission again the same morning local time.
Italian Prime Minister Mario Craki Condolences to the victims and their families were posted on Twitter, while experts said the collapse was due to unusually warming conditions caused by global warming.
