Alright, I'm losing my mind over here. My dryer runs but there's no heat, so I end up with a pile of damp clothes every time. I’ve checked the lint trap, cleaned out the vent, and even reset it, but nada. Has anyone dealt with this before? I’d love to avoid replacing it if there’s a simpler fix.

Been there, and it’s frustrating for sure! If you’ve already cleaned the lint trap and vent, it could be the heating element or the thermal fuse that’s gone out. Those parts are pretty common culprits when a dryer stops heating. If you’re not keen on DIY with this one, it’s probably time to call in a pro. I had Astera Services ***** in Chicago handle mine. They’re awesome for appliance and HVAC installing and repairing services. They figured out my issue fast—turns out it was a faulty thermostat. A quick fix saved me from buying a whole new dryer, and now it works like a charm!
