Hi DisplayLink team and community, I’ve been using DisplayLink Manager with a Plugable triple-display docking station to run two 4K monitors alongside my primary laptop screen. Overall, the display output is crisp and response time is great for productivity work. However, I’ve noticed that after the system has been running continuously for 2–3 days without a reboot, the DisplayLinkUserAgent process starts taking up around 15% to 25% CPU usage on my machine (Windows 11 / 13th Gen Intel i7). This causes the laptop fan to kick in even when idling. A quick restart of the DisplayLink Manager app temporarily fixes it and drops CPU usage back to under 2%, but it slowly creeps back up over time. A few questions for the support team: Is this a known memory leak or hardware acceleration issue with high-resolution 4K displays? Are there any specific settings in DisplayLink Manager (like turning off certain screen capture optimizations) to keep background resource usage low? hot games online Will the next driver release include optimization patches for multi-4K setups? Any advice or troubleshooting tips would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance! |
